All of our account executives are registered with the SEC and FINRA, and the firm is a member of SIPC. For insurance and risk mitigation purposes, Bruderman has additional account protection provided through Lloyd’s of London.

Stephanie S. Torosian
Director, Wealth Planning & Family Office
Ms. Torosian is Director of the Wealth Planning & Family Office division within Bruderman Asset Management, LLC. She leads the team responsible for building all financial plans and managing the day-to-day needs of private clients.
Prior to joining Bruderman, Ms. Torosian was an Associate Director in the Wealth Planning and Analysis Group at AllianceBernstein, where she consulted with financial advisors and their clients on a range of issues, including asset allocation, multigenerational wealth planning and philanthropy. She has been the keynote speaker for a number of conferences and has been published in Trusts & Estates magazine on the topic of trust management and charitable remainder trusts.
Ms. Torosian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and East Asian Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Management from Johns Hopkins University. She is Series 7 and 63 licensed.
Eugene T. Miller
Managing Director, Private Wealth Services
Mr. Eugene T. Miller serves as the Managing Director for Private Wealth Services at Bruderman Asset Management, LLC. Mr. Miller brings more than 30 years of wealth management and family office experience to the firm. Prior to his current role, he served as Director of Family Office Services at Westport Resources, a boutique investment advisor.
Previously, Mr. Miller held a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Strategist at Genspring Family Offices, where he advised clients on asset management strategies as well as provided assistance with intellectual capital matters, family governance, philanthropy, and other services.
Mr. Miller also served as a Ultra High Net Worth Private Banker and Director at Citi Private Bank. Prior to this, Mr. Miller joined Galaxy Family Resources in Greenwich in 2008 providing customized financial solutions for wealthy families and family offices.
He is a Member of the Boards of Directors of the Westport Arts Center and Shakespeare on the Sound. Mr. Miller is a member of the Westport Kiwanis Club and the American Cancer Society of Fairfield County. He holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses. Mr. Miller received an advanced degree from the University of Oklahoma in Commercial Banking and graduated from Fairfield University.
Michael L. Murphy, CFA
Head of Risk Management
Mr. Murphy is Head of Risk Management at Bruderman Asset
Management, LLC, responsible for sourcing and overseeing
the firms alternative investment portfolios. He also works with the firm’s portfolio management team, performing quantitative analysis for alternative and portfolio investments.
Mr. Murphy brings more than 25 years of investment experience to the firm, including over 17 years in the hedge fund industry, where he focuses on fund due diligence, portfolio construction and quantitative analysis. He previously served as the principal of a consulting firm that provides valuation and investment banking services to investors and sponsors in the real estate, consumer and technology sectors. Prior to that, he served as a managing director and director of research at Sage Capital Management. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, one of the most distinguished and highly regarded accreditations in the financial services industry.
